Compact integrated amp with a slim vertical profile
The narrow, vertically oriented N22 (Gen 2) amplifier fits easily on your desk, bookshelf, or kitchen counter. This redesign of a customer favorite delivers 50 watts per channel into 6 ohms and is 4-ohm-stable, so it can drive most bookshelf speakers to satisfying volume levels in a small room. Other updates to this Gen 2 version include Bluetooth for wireless streaming, a USB-C input, and an onboard DAC.
Flexible connections and configurations
This amp offers an easy streamlined setup and operation. You get inputs for two analog audio sources — one RCA and one 3.5mm aux — and one knob for power and volume. A USB-C input lets you play music from a smartphone, computer, tablet, or other compatible device. And a preamp output lets you connect to an external amp or a powered subwoofer — like the Audioengine S8.
The built-in high-performance, low-noise headphone amplifier can drive your favorite pair of ‘phones for great sound at times when the rest of the household doesn’t need to listen. And an automatic standby idle mode conserves power when you’re not playing music.
As an extra convenience, Audioengine includes two lengths of speaker wire, a 3.5mm aux cable, a stereo RCA cable, and a USB-C cable.
